It's a day event or a hangout with friends, a lunch invite or a house party or a date with your guy for that matter. You want to look your best and make him stare at you for the rest of the evening? Well, not sure what would be the right choice of look for you for such special occasions? Then here we are, yet again, with two different looks with a traditional Indian long skirt and an urban two-slit maxi long skirt. Both of these looks are bright but subtle, considering the summer weather. Look yourself and follow the style suiting your personality. And yes, you can always improvise.

That's the Indian and Urban look. Pair your long skirts with any tight fitted top. Here we've teamed up our skirts with ZARA Essentials and a pair of Flats/Slippers/Kohlapuris/Sandals.

URBAN LOOK:

Carry off your attire with silver rings and Midi Rings and bright nail paints. Here for the Urban look, we have used Maybelline Color Show ( Dazzling Diva 602 ) And Maybelline Nail Lacquer, (Pink Shock) .

.

Two-slit Maxi long skirt is tailored. The pink top is from ZARA India. Footwear is by Forever 21. To complete your look, tie your hair into a high bun, have Kohl eyes/Mascara and put a bright matte shade of lip color. We have used MAC Ruby Woo, super matte. Rather than applying your lipstick the normal way, make a lip ombre. Rub off your lips near the parting and the shade will get lighter.

You can also carry off your Retro maxi skirt by pairing it with a leather belt, a scarf or chains. Go all retro and vintage with your urban look.

 INDIAN LOOK:

Compliment your bright Indian printed skirt with some silver Jewellery, Glass bangles and a light shade of nail paint. These are available at almost all Delhi Haats in New Delhi, India.

This printed long skirt is by SABHYATA. It is also called 'Ghagra': घागरा in local language. These Indian long skirts normally have a broad bright border and lots of pleats. They generally are heavy in weight.

The skirt is teamed up with a Zara top that has been customized and ripped/cut at the sleeves, waist and back. We will deal with ripping/ slitting/ cutting in our upcoming blogs. Also wear a nice pair of Silver earring and Kohlapuris (footwear) to compliment the look wholly along with a low hair Bun.

So, here is our first official blog displaying transfused fashion. It's summer time in the sub-tropics and the last thing we'd like is humidity making us unfashionable. Wearing Denims may leave us feeling hot and sticky, while Shorts will definitely invite tanning and heat strokes. To such a problem of looking trendy and being comfortable at the same time, we bring a solution called 'Palazzo'. They are made of cotton, georgette or any light fabric, as loose bell-bottomed kind of pants. They are airy and comfy at the same time, keeping you cool and make you look trendy.
We bring you the Indian look and the Modern look simultaneously. Dress up according to your style.

 We are on Instagram

Black and red block print palazzo (cotton) and brown racer back cotton top is by an Indian brand: SABHYATA : सभ्यता  (sabhyata.tradeindia.com)
Floral printed palazzo (georgette) and green top is from Flea Markets in New Delhi, India.

Compliment your Indian look with a pair of glittered gold Kohlapuris : कोहलापुरी and gold anklets : पायल  that can be made available almost anywhere in Indian flea markets.
GOLD tinted jewellery and accessories are to glitter up your look for a perfect day out.

These footwear are from FOREVER 21. Team 'em up with your floral print palazzo for a classy and Chic look.

Spiral shaped earrings are bronze and silver mix bought from Old Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India.
The other pair is a buy from Cannaught Place, New Delhi, India.
Gold earrings can never go out of fashion at least in India. A pocket friendly way to jazz up your look is to buy some fakes that are gold plated or polished. You can always put a BINDI to compliment your Indian look.

Midi Rings have become quite a rage lately and so are the Peter Pan Collared necklace. Also the metal bangles that almost go with anything in your wardrobe.  Must haves.

Pep up your look by a bright colored belt from Lifestyle.

A perfect day to welcome ourselves :)

Hello peeps ! So here we are finally blogging our way into humanity and high street. So starting with a brief introduction, well we are two friends, one mad about fashion- call her PINK (Monalisha Mahapatra, right one in the above pic) and the other is mad about life- call her GREEN (Kartika Rana, left one). We will be fusing two cultures, traditional and modern in almost everything. We are Indian, so gear up for some amazing transfusion of Indian culture into fashion. There'll be lots more, so catch up for some action in near future :D
Tada.
Love
